OPEN MIGHT NIGHT is an Open Mic series founded in 2010 that focuses on artistry, community, and a commitment to raising awareness to social injustice while raising funds for Community Christian Church’s International Ministries.
Yes, it is an Open Mic Night, but we wanted to make the distinction by calling it Open Might Night to emphasize the power of art as a tool for empowerment and a catalyst for change. We want to encourage our local community to share their God-given talents of poetry, music, art, and craft.
We gather in our Event Room in Yorba Linda, a small venue that hopefully cultivates a feeling of being in one's family room. Come and be part of our community as we will be raising funds for the International Ministry's mission trip to Chile in July 2012.

What: Open Might Night #10 f. Gradual Effect (Tyler Liem & Tyler Beeuwsaert)
Where: Community Christian Church, Anaheim Hills, CA
When: Saturday, September 24 @ 6:30.
Why: Raising funds for the International Ministry of CCC & its Mission to Chile for 2012.
Cost: Entry $5 minimum.

The Rules
1. No more than 2 performances per sign-up or 7 minutes of stage time
2. We get through the line-up of sign-ups first, if we have time we can add performances - No spot requests, sign ups are in order to keep it simple - the night of, we can talk.
3. If you sign up for a spot, and especially if you are a feature, we EXPECT you to stay for the whole night--we want to support each other as a fellow artists and as a community.
4. Acoustic set-ups encouraged--the least amount of time for set-ups for in-between sets.
5. All spectators and performers are expected to pay the entrance fee unless you are the feature, or you have special waiver by one of the organizers.
